August 2024 saw me doing potentially my last gig ever: helping with lights for a mate’s daughter’s birthday party. I think we did OK for only getting into the venue 2 hours before doors.

As part of my last gig ever, I provided LED disco lights to a mate’s daughter’s birthday party. We had RGB PARcans and X-bricks with DMX control as well as disco lights on S2l.

Some of my BCDC LED frames and other prototypes made an appearance: a pride flag VU meter, a Happy Birthday VU meter and a PCB that scrolls text across it courtesy of a PICAXE and 595 shift registers. We added fairy lights and festoons, for reasons.

As part of my last gig ever, I provided LED disco lights to a mate’s daughter’s birthday party. We had some of Big Clive’s & my own LED frames, VU meters, shift register PCBs and LED festoons.

The reason for it being my last gig is because I’m heading down south to start a new job. Scary times ahead.
